Separate Your To-Do List Script: (005)
I love getting things done and checking them off a to-do list. But if I am not careful, I will find myself with lots of check marks but feel as if I haven't accomplished anything significant. Why? It's easy to focus on the low-hanging fruit and avoid the more complex items. The solution: Separate your list.
One only includes the bigger items. The ones that if you could spend all your time on them daily, you could move mountains. The other is the smaller items that you can quickly address.
Both are important…but carving out time to address the bigger rocks is vital to accomplish any significant goal.
The same is true for your financial goals as well. Moving small rocks can be fun, but you might have to focus on a few large boulders to reach your goals. The problem is that they take time…which is why we might avoid them. But once they are removed, the progress forward could be substantial.
