Three Financial Burdens That are Easy to Fix Script: (003)
No one wants to air their dirty laundry about their financial mistakes.
Yes, it's always great to avoid these mistakes…but most of us have stumbled along the way at some point.
And if you do…you might have to live with some consequences, but there's no reason to continue digging a deeper hole.
Here are three financial mistakes to avoid …or address with a strategy for redemption.
1) Living Without a Plan
Typically, if you are in a canoe without a paddle, you will drift to a destination you may not like. So likewise, living your life without a financial plan will cause you to drift towards mistakes that you might easily avoid.
2) Not reviewing your recurring payments at least once per year.
Recurring payments to gyms you don't use, streaming services you don't watch, and other fees for services you don't use can add up before you know it. So cancel now and add them back later if needed.
3) Ignoring your Credit Report…even if you are not looking to borrow money.
First…consider it a financial health check. Second, it's not always as simple as hitting the delete button if you find inaccurate information. It takes time for it to be removed.
Avoiding or addressing these three financial pitfalls can go a long way to improving the health of your financial plan.
