Let’s do this tomorrow…

The longer I live, I’ve noticed one characteristic that separates great leaders from average leaders.

The characteristic is focus.

If you’re like me, my most productive days are the ones when I stay laser-focused on the most critical projects that will make a difference in moving my company forward.

But sometimes it’s hard. I have great intentions, but stuff gets in the way. Sometimes I love doing the little things. It feels good to check off many small to-dos from my daily list.

But at the end of the day, did it make a difference?

The same is true for your marketing strategy. Because marketing is the planting of seeds that you hope will eventually produce a harvest, it's easy to put it off until tomorrow...or the next day, next week, or next year.

And...since we are an instant gratification culture, why spend time on something today that doesn't produce immediate results?

The best marketers identify a clear plan and stick with it. Sure they make adjustments along the way, but consistency is an essential part of the strategy.

But the first step to consistency is to start today what you might be tempted to put off until tomorrow.

Still not convinced?

Then you have to watch this video. Not tomorrow...but today!
