The Dreaded "B" Word Script: (001)
You can't talk long about money until the dreaded B-word comes up. Yes…that word that some embrace and others despise. What's the word? Budget. It's a word that can make us feel guilty and cause tension in most relationships.
Some call it one of the necessary evils to manage your finances.
Or is it?
What if you changed the perspective? Instead of calling it a budget…you focus on a spending plan?
Here are a few reasons why:
Budgets can be reactive; spending plans can be proactive.
A spending plan allows you to take charge of your money; a budget can feel like your money is taking charge of you.
Most of us don't like saving, so put a plan around the thing you enjoy…spending:)
A budget can focus on what you don't have; a spending plan can focus on what you do have.
If the ultimate goal is to achieve financial freedom, a plan or strategy is vital…but not all plans are created equal. Make sure your plan aligns with your dreams and goals.
